NAME: MUHAMMAD SAAD SHAMSI CLASS: BBA VII SUBJECT: M.P GR.NO: 112086 INTRODUCTION OF COMPANY The Ismail Industries Ltd (IIL) was incorporated in 1989 as a Public Limited Company and is the largest confectionery company in Pakistan The chairman of Ismail Industries Ltd (IIL) is Mr Muhammad M.Ismail The company initially manufactured high quality of sugar confectionery products under the brand name of Candy Land The Candy Land is growing at a very fast rate The company is more concern about the employee development to ensure the product quality They are fulfilling the need of local market and also exporting their products to more than 40 countries around the globe including USA, Europe, Australia, Africa and the Middle East, where they had strong business relationships with customers for over 15 years The market share of Candy Land is 21% The major competitors in the market are Hilal, Cadbury, BP The net sales for the year were 12,533 m and the profit for the year 2014 was 502 m CURRENT STRATEGIC DIRECTIONS: VISION STATEMENT: We aim to offer high quality products to our consumer by remaining the most technologically advanced company in our field We wish to have substantial presence outside Pakistan through export and local manufacturing MISSION STATEMENT: we strive to deliver our consumers consistent quality of products which maximizes our value and customer satisfaction We are extensively catering to the domestic markets and strengthening our roots in international ones Economic Force: As we know that economic force is that in which , the company has to deal with unemployment level and inflation problem of the country The Ismail Industries Ltd are dealing with the economic force very well More than 500 people are employed in The Ismail Industries and they are also providing them reasonable health and safety facilities, offering reasonable salaries and environment Social, cultural, demographic and environmental natural forces: Ismail Industries are also doing a good job regarding Social , cultural , demographic and environmental natural forces Ismail Industries offers good salaries and reward to their employees They also doing following things like : • • • • • • Sports Activities for Workers Free Medication/Medicine for Locals Renovation of Local Mosques Up-gradation / Renovation of Local Schools Water Taps for Local Residents Wedding Gif Political, legal and governmental forces: Ismail Industries follows all the political legal and governmental forces related things Like, proper registration of products and their packaging, maintaining all standards regards food safety, paying taxes to the government from their income etc Technological forces: Ismail Industries under the head of candy land is advancing day by day They are the leading brand in confectionary items and now they have launched their new product that is a standard quality chocolate, name novella It is giving a hard time to an existing multinational company Dairy milk Competitive Forces: Ismail Industries candy land’s share price and its position in the stock market is also very good regarding confectionary items As the price of the share is low so it also create an ease for the share holder to buy the shares of Ismail Industries The income statement and the balance sheet shows the positivenes every year Hilal is one of the biggest competitor of Ismail Industries, but due to good economic , financial and social conditions Ismail Industries is stable in the market ...
