- Get Ss play the game - Instruct the game - Lead in the new lesson

2 Listen and number (10’)

- Ask Ss to look at the pictures: Who are they? and What are they doing? What time of the day is it?

- Tell Ss that they are going to listen and tick number under the pictures

- Draw their attention to the pictures

- Play the recording through for Ss to listen - Play the recording again for Ss to listen and tick the correct answers

- Ask Ss to exchange their answers with their partners before reporting them to the class - Correct, remark

- Play the recording again to Ss repeat follow *Correct answers:

PROCEDURE

1.Warm up(5’) - Get Ss to play Lucky number game Divide

class into groups Prepare a table of numbers Of which numbers, there is a lucky number When Ss luckily choose it, they get one point without answering any questions The rest numbers attach questions that Ss from groups must answer to get points If, a group is wrong in a question, another one can continue to answer the question The winner is the team that gets more points

2.Listen and repeat(10’)

- Have Ss open the book page 10, draw their attention to the letters colored differently in the words Linda, night

- Produce the sound of the letter l and v - Have Ss repeat the focused sounds a few times

- Play the recording twice and ask Ss to repeat

- Tell them that they are going to practise introducing someone

- Play the recording all the way through for Ss to listen, and point to the appropriate line in their books

- Play the recording again for Ss to repeat the lines Repeat the step a few times

- Devide the class into groups Ask practice in pairs

- Go round and check ps can repeat and understand the dialogue
