Eventually, the coping model’s problem-solving behaviors and verbalizations matched those of the mastery model. Teacher-model children observed videos portraying only the teacher providing in- struction; no-model children did not view videos. All children judged self-efﬁcacy for learn- ing to subtract and received instruction and practice over sessions.
