WEEK 11 Period 20 Date of preparing: 16/ 11/ 2021 Date of teaching: 19/ 11/ 2021 (1A) 19/ 11/ 2021 (1D) UNIT 4: MY BODY Lesson 1: Part A, B, C I Objective Language focus - By the end of this lesson, students will be able to identify body parts and follow simple instructions Vocabulary: head, leg, arm Structure: Touch your (head) Skills - Practice listening, speaking, reading, writing skills Core competencies & Personal qualities - Encourage Ss to use the structure more regulary II Teaching aids Teacher’s aids: Ss’book and teacher’s book, class CDs, flashcards, software, powerpoint, laptop Students’ aids: Student book, notebooks, workbook III Method - Model - Talk - Practice, individual work, pair work, group work IV Procedures Teacher - Students’ activies Warm up (5’) *Activities: “Bang!” - T asks Ss work in groups - T give each group a box with many pieces of paper in it Write a sentence on the paper E.g It’s a pink flower./ It’s a white flower./… and fold it in half - Add a few cards that say "BANG!" - T asks Ss to take turns picking up a card from the box If they read the sentence correctly, they get to keep it If they draw a BANG!
