Although I was born and brought in the country I spent most of my time in the city, however, a comfortable life in the city has never appealed to me at all And the country with its advantages still has a call to me for good.

Living in the country, the fresh and clean air of the country makes you feel healthier How relaxed and pleasant you are when you can enjoy the pure air wafted with soft fragrance of areca and grape fruit trees as you leisurely take a stroll around your garden Morever, living in the country you may feel safer while in town, the city dwellers are in a state of continuously being afraid of committing violent deaths

Sword Lake

Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum

After two years of construction, the mausoleum of President Ho Chi Minh wasofficially inaugurated on August 29, 1975 The facade of the mausoleum faces thehistoric Ba Dinh square

Hoa and Lan are attending a first – aid course at the Red Cross headquarters in Ha Noi Dr Canh,a Red Cross physician, is conducting tonight’s session on snake bites

“You must take a snake – bite victim to the nearest hospital or clinic” Dr Canh

explains, “even if you think the snake is not poisonous, you should try and get medicaltreatment”

The students work in pairs and practice the first – aid procedure.They have to get the person to lie down , make sure the bite site is below the heart, and tie a tourniquet between the site and the heart When it comes to the final step,most of the students are uncertain about the correct technique for applying a tourniquet.Dr Canh glances around the class and asks ,”Will you lend me your scarf,Lan?”
