Permeable and leaking problems have been happening very popularly
in construction projects on over the world in general and in Vietnam, because the rates of permeable and leaking problems in Vietnam are very high and higher than in many other countries
Permeable and leaking problems cause serious consequences such as reducing the longevity of the building, adversely affecting the aesthetics, utilities, equipment damage in the building Moreover, such problems adversely affect the health and quality of life of a resident, living or working on the buildings In addition, when a leak occurs, it is expensive to repair, which is often very complicated and easy to recur
Trang 8In order to identify the factors that influence Permeable and leaking problems in construction projects, a survey including 32 factors used to collect data from experience and certain knowledge people regarding permeable and leaking problems in construction There are 169 valid responses used in statistical analyses Multiple used include: mean method, Spearman rank correlation test, t test, Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA), Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) and Structural Equation Model (SEM) The test results show that the views of the three main groups involved in the project implementation process (the Investor, the Consultant and the Construction Contractor) on the factors affecting the seepage issue
in construction projects have significant correlations with each other There are six factors that are considered to affect the permeation problems in construction projects: (1) Lack of legal regulations, technical regulations; (2) Lack of responsiveness in technology; (3) Ineffective choice of solution; (4) Subjective psychology; (5) Lack of Knowledge; (6) Unreasonable Financecial Investment
By using SEM approach, the interrelationships among the main causes are investigated The analysis results show that lack of legal regulations and technical regulations has the strongest and impact on other factors
From the aforementioned results, project participants should pay close attention to the factors identified in this study to minimize the risk of permeable and leaking problems as well as the unexpected damages caused
by permeable and leaking problems
