In recent years, the number of traffic projects invested in the form of private partnerships (PPPs) has been increasing in Vietnam Most of these projects range in size from large to very large However, many projects, when completed, did not meet expectations as planned by investors Because many factors are not considered back and forth, the construction, operation, and management face many difficulties, leading to economic instability and fierce social opposition One of those factors is a social risks This study will analyze the social risks factor affecting the evaluation criteria for sustainable development of transport projects in Vietnam
public-To clarify, a conceptual model was built, including social risks factor affecting project performance in 3 aspects: economic, environmental, and social, including 36 factors and 8 performance evaluation criteria towards sustainable development A questionnaire survey was conducted to collect data from stakeholders such as investors, PPP traffic project managers in the public and private sectors, and those working in construction companies There were 220 valid survey responses used for statistical analysis The analysis includes Cronbach's Alpha analysis, analyzing the EFA exploratory factor, analyzing the CFA confirmatory factor, and an SEM linear structural model The results show that there are two groups of factors that have a negligible influence on the employee's project performance, such as internal issues related to the enterprise and project-related issues There are four groups of factors that directly affect the effectiveness of damaged projects: Issues related to resources, energy, social issues, environmental pollution-related issues, investment environment-related issues
By SEM model, the relationship and influence between factors can be determined I am proposing some solutions to improve the efficiency of PPP traffic projects to develop towards sustainability in the future
