A OBJECTIVES: By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to:

1 Knowledge:

- use what they remember from the unit to help them answer the questions, review

vocabs and present perfect tense

- do the fifteen-minute test

2 Competences: Co- operation, Self - study, work in pairs, groups ,

3 Qualities: hardworking, responsible and honest

B PREPARATION:

1 Teacher: Textbook, planning, pictures, laptop, loudspeaker

2 Students: Textbook, notebook, pen.

C Procedure:

I Warm up: Network

- T writes the five topic on the board: city, people, weather, building, food

- T elicits Ss at least 3 adjectives to describe each topic

+ City: big, peaceful, modern, beautiful,…

+ People: friendly, kind, helpful, intelligent…

+ Weather: warm, hot, sunny, snowy…

+ Building: tall, old, new, modern……

II Vocabulary:

1 Activity 1: Choose the best two options: S + be + adJ

- T asks Ss to do the Ex1/P.34

- T asks Ss to read their answers

- T gets feedback and gives corrections

III Grammar:

1 Activity 2/P.34: Put the verbs in the brackets into the present perfect

- T elicits Ss to revise the form, adv and use of the present perfect tense

* Form: S + have/ has + PII

* Meaning: Ask Ss to translate the model sentences into Vietnamese

* Use: We can use the present perfect to desribe our experiences
