with foreign countries Jewelry village Dinh Cong (now it is Dinh Cong ward, Hoang Mai district, Hanoi capital) is one of four villages of traditional jewelry in Northern Delta Zone Jewelry village Dinh Cong has the hot silver spinning well known This village has many kinds of products with many patterns, sophistication decoration All products are shown the patient, the intelligent and creativity of jewelry artisans in Dinh Cong village It is the fact that in one decade recently Hanoi has rapidly speeds of economy, urbanization prolongs the profound chances in many fields Jewelry village and traditional handmade village are acting and changing rented from market, mechanism and the speed of industrialization and modernization nowadays This problem is hot for social development different with other jewelry products These special characters shown on technique, items of products, it required artists having skillful hand, having patient and creative This is important chance to help this job continued to exist and develop Thanks to special character so silver handmade products are preferred in foreign market This is a chance to advertise the handmade crafts traditionally in Vietnam with foreigners worldwide This is one bridge linked to introduce the Vietnamese culture to the world In real situation of silver job, silver job can keep in sustainable development way.Long growth, devaluation of currency (inflation) making friends with many nations in the world….having direct and indirect impact to jewelry job in Dinh Cong So, the economy develops stably, it will create more external conditions for silver handmade job development and if the economy doesn’t develop stably, it will create difficulties The development of urbanization rapidly also results in changes about culture value traditionally The reduction of handmade crafts traditionally in a long time is a clearly change in urbanization period If in the past, when Dinh Cong is still village near city, silver made job in Dinh Cong develop quickly about 80% the number of families in village follow the job but now, when Dinh Cong is new urban city The jewelry of silver job reduced, the number of families follow it a little Silver made products have art value and used value However, many customers not know this matter, mainly domestic customers (except familiar customer) So, many people come real situation nowadays of jewelry in Dinh Cong such as: reducing village, a little bit the number of families, the shortage of labor, supply and demand matter….via this analysis, we want to prove that in the period of urbanization happened sharply in Dinh Cong have deep impact of development of jewelry in Dinh Cong so jewelry job has many changes in comparison with in the past When we analyze the real situation of jewelry in Dinh Cong, we want to focus on conservation and development of jewelry in Dinh Cong, especially having well known silver cooking of Dinh Cong artists of jewelry There is general trend of development of traditional handmade village now it is reduction if traditionally handmade job in a long time So, the conservation and development is one difficult math lessons in society now In general trend, jewelry job in Dinh Cong also reduced However, many jewelry artists in Dinh Cong and local government try to keep this job and conserve this job Now, the development of jewelry job still happened slowly but traditionally silver made of parents still kept by jewelry artists in Dinh Cong We used method of SWOT analyses as a tool of giving out overall view about real job, this is technique of cooking gold and silver and poured them in frame and only used for jewelry But it is not any artists can make jewelry products more carefully to meet the demand In Dinh Cong there is strengths about cooking gold and silver technique that jewelry artists in other area don’t have with more decorations or type of decorations, Dinh Cong artists only bring technique gold and silver in products When they see many products made by technique so we can see clearly value and sophisticated value So, the technique of cooking silver, gold is big property of each generations of jewelry here Now, the urbanization in Dinh Cong happened rapidly It makes changes the face of Dinh Cong in many fields, including jewelry job In the past Dinh Cong is one of three big center of producing silver, gold in Northern Delta area but now in Dinh Cong jewelry reduced However, here still exists traditionally silver cooked job and some artists and local government supported each other to keep and conserve traditionally job of previous generation leaves The development of silver job now happened slowly There are many factors caused this changes Many internal matters included the good point and bad point to develop the silver job The strong matter such as: loving job by heart and blood with jobs and try to keep and develop the job The strong human is skillful artists and good as: shortage of labor, especially skillful labor, young people follow the job a little bits Economic value is cheaper than labor force the artists make products All products are handmade to the ability to work is very low The numbers of families follow the job a little bits Having demand doesn’t meet the supply production scale can’t open The percentages of immigration in Dinh Cong develop more and more These difficulties will prevent the development of job With the good point and bad point, silver job will have more changes to develop such as: These products are special and having no competitors, these product are preferred in foreign market and can be kept and develop by longterm way, so we have many chances to advertise products and Vietnamese culture, cared much by local government, these products can have many used value: gifts, showroom gifts, donated gifts….However, besides many chances to develop silver job in Dinh Cong it exists many bad point: customers (especially domestic customer) don’t know much value of products, price stipulation is more expensive than other jewelry products so they are not sold, the up and down growth of market of materials (gold and silver) has impact on price Via analysis, we can focus on opportunities to reduced and the number of families follow a little bits that job but this job still has chance to maintain and develop So, analyses about real situation of silver job in Dinh Cong now help as to see the good point and bad point, the favorable conditions and difficulties, opportunity and threats to develop this job in urbanization period develop sharply Via analyses above we can see the changes to develop the silver job in Dinh Cong not only depended on external matters (such as: special character 93 LUAN
