5.4 Hạn chế của nghiên cứu và hướng nghiên cứu tiếp theo
Do giới hạn về nguồn lực, nghiên cứu thực hiện lấy mẫu theo phương pháp
thuận tiện và khảo sát đối tượng là phụ nữ mang thai khỏe mạnh có tuổi thai dưới 36 tuần ở TP. HCM. Vì vậy, để nâng cao tính khái qt của mơ hình thì nghiên cứu tiếp theo nên lấy mẫu ở nhiều tỉnh thành khác trong cả nước mới có thể tăng tính đại diện.
Ở Việt Nam, đây là lĩnh vực khá nhạy cảm vì vậy việc lấy mẫu cũng có khó
khăn khi đối tượng không chịu tham gia khảo sát. Tác giả không phải là chuyên gia trong lĩnh vực y tế, thể thao nên tính phổ qt của đề tài cịn hạn chế.
Vẫn còn nhiều yếu tố khác tác động đến ý định tập thể dục thường xuyên trong thai kỳ chưa được đề cập đến như: kiến thức về tập thể dục trong thai kỳ, cảm nhận chủ quan của chính các bà mẹ về việc tập thể dục trong thai kỳ, chỉ số BMI trước và trong thời kỳ mang thai, so sánh giữa đối tượng trước khi mang thai đã có tập thể dục và chưa tập thể dục,...
Nghiên cứu này chỉ dừng lại ở ý định vì vậy hướng nghiên cứu tiếp theo sẽ
nghiên cứu sâu hơn để đưa ra được biến phụ thuộc là hành vi tập thể dục thường xuyên trong thai kỳ.
Đồng thời, tác giả muốn tìm hiểu sâu hơn hành vi tập thể dục trước khi sinh
