2.Các yếu tố liên quan đến ý tưởng và hành vi tự sát:
+ Đặc điểm trầm cảm
* Trầm cảm càng tái phát tỷ lệ TS càng cao
* Trầm cảm có loạn thần nguy cơ tự sát cao hơn trầm cảm không có loạn thần .
* Mức độ trầm cảm và mức độ YTTS càng nặng thì nguy cơ thực hiện hành vi tự sát càng cao.
+ Các rối loạn Tâm thần kết hợp: Lo âu, tình trạng uống rượu và hút thuốc lá không ảnh hưởng nhiều đến hành vi tự sát.
+ Các yếu tố về tâm lý xã hội.
* Các yếu tố về tuổi, giới, trình độ văn hóa, nơi cư trú không liên quan nhiều đến YT và HVTS.
* Những người độc thân, ly hôn có nguy cơ tự sát cao hơn những người có gia đình.
+ Các yếu tố ngăn ngừa tự sát:
* Sự quan tâm, giúp đỡ của gia đình có vai trò quan trọng trong ngăn ngừa tự sát.
* Việc hạn chế tối đa cơ hội thực hiện hành vi tự sát cũng làm giảm nguy cơ tự sát của bệnh nhân.
* Điều trị trầm cảm tốt đóng một vai trò quan trọng làm giảm thiểu nguy cơ tự sát của người bệnh.
Kiến nghị
- Cần phải phổ biến kiến thức cho người dân về bệnh rối loạn trầm cảm, đặc biệt là rối loạn trầm cảm nặng có ý tưởng và hành vi tự sát để họ biết cách chăm sóc, quản lý, phát hiện sớm người bệnh có ý tưởng và hành vi tự sát.
- Chương trình chăm sóc Sức khoẻ Tâm thần cần đầu tư chú trọng hơn nữa để việc quản lý và điều trị bệnh nhân rối loạn trầm cảm.
- Tăng cường kiến thức đưa bài rối loạn trầm cảm vào chương trình đào tạo bác sĩ đa khoa.
