UNIT 3: AT HOME LESSON 3: B2-3 A.Objectives:

- Read the dialogue and the text to know the jobs of the members of Hoa's family and Lan's family

- By the end of the lesson, ss will be able to understand the dialogue, the text for main ideas, details and use job vocabulary

1 Practice skill:

- practice comprehension reading, speaking and writing skill

2 Basic language:

- Vocabulary: farm (n),journalist (n), newspaper (n), sick (a), primary school ,to take care of

- Structure: What do you do? What is your job?

(I’m a farmer I grow vegestables and raise cattle.)

What does she do?

(She is a nurse She takes care of sick children.)

Where do you/ does she work?

( I work on the farm/ She works in a hospital.)

+ Standard knowledge: ask and answer about jbs of the members of Lan' s and

Hoa's family

+ Advanced knowledge: Practice talking about the jobs of their own parents

3 Attitude:

- Help ss to have good consciousness in order to practice reading for main ideas and details, and do exercises

check their prediction

- Ask ss to correct if the staments are not true
