UNIT 1: NICE TO SEE YOU AGAIN. Lesson 3: Part 1, 2, 3.

I Objectives

1 Knowledge: - By the end of the lesson Ps will be able to: + Greet and respond to formal greetings

+ Have pupils ask and answer questions about someone, intro-duce someone + Pronounce correctly the sound of the letters “ l ” and that of the letter “ n ” in the words Linda, night

2 Skills: Develop Ss listening, reading, writing skill.

3 Attitude: Ss know how to greet when meeting and goodbye adults and friends

- Ss: stick it on board and read aloud - T minitors and give feedback

3 Let’s chant.

- T presents the chant from Page10 on the board, tells Ps that they are going to chant - T plays the recording all the way through for Ps to listen as they read Clap the syllables - T plays the recording again, Ps repeat each line of the chant and clap the syllables

- Divide the class into two One group repeats each line of the chant, the other claps the syllables

- Ps practice reciting the chant in the groups T monitors the activity and offers help

- Call on some volunteers to recite the chant The rest of the class clap the syllables

- T makes some question to check pupils’ comprehension of the chant
