Phiếu mô tả dự án dự thi giáo viên Tên dự án dạy học: Unit – Life in the future – Part D : Writing Mục tiêu dạy học - Bài học có tích hợp số môn nhà trường phổ thông chương trình dạy học khác: Địa lý, Sinh học vấn đề thực tiễn xã hội - Học sinh cần có lực vận dụng kiến thức liên môn: Địa lý, Sinh học vấn đề thực tiễn xã hội để giải vấn đề dự án dạy học đặt Đối tượng dạy học dự án - Đối tượng học sinh: khối 12 (lớp 12A6,12,13) Ý nghĩa dự án - Bài học giáo viên sử dụng kiến thức liên môn Lịch sử, Địa lý, Sinh học giáo viên sử dụng kiến thức nội dung thực tế lĩnh vực văn hóa, trị đời sống diễn xã hội - Bài học có vai trò ý nghĩa lớn, không giúp cho em học sinh nắm thông tin kiến thức học mà giúp em có hiểu biết nhiều lĩnh vực xã hội lĩnh vực khoa học kĩ thuật, môi trường, thảo luận thay đổi người trái đất tương lai Từ em viết mô tả thân tương lai Thiết bị dạy học, học liệu Sử dụng phần mềm Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2007 Trong giảng sử dụng máy chiếu projector Hoạt động dạy học tiến trình dạy học - Có giáo án word giáo án PowerPoint kèm theo Kiểm tra đánh giá kết học tập - Giáo viên đánh giá tiếp thu học học sinh thông qua việc phản hồi thông tin trưc tiếp lớp từ việc học sinh tham gia trả lời câu hỏi giảng đặc biệt thông qua tập thảo luận cuối học - Giáo viên kiểm tra đánh giá kết học tập học sinh tiết học sau, Các sản phẩm học sinh - Có hành động thiết thưc để đóng góp cho phát triển khoa học, kĩ thuật, xây dựng sống văn minh hòa bình Date of preparing: 22/11/2015 - Period: 48th Unit 8: life in the future Lesson 4: Writing I Objectives: Educational aim: - Describing the world you would like to live in the future Knowledge: - General knowledge: Writing about some one's ideas or imagines - Language: +The tenses + Connectors (time expressions) - New words: Words related to the life in the future, environment… - essay (n) luận -conflict (n) xung đột - harmony (n)/'hɑ:məni/ hoà hợp, hoà thuận - desire (n)/di'zaiə/ ước mơ, ước vọng - materialistic (adj) /mə,tiəriə'listik/ thực dụng - selfish (adj)ích kỷ Skills: To practise students’ speaking and writing skills To help students to able to write about the ideal world they would like to live in the year 2020 II Method: - Integrated, mainly communicative III Teaching aids: - Board, chalks, textbook and notebook, handout IV Procedure: Teacher’s activities Students’ activities A Warm-up: (7 minutes) Class organization: Check the old lesson: - Write new words Repeat the advantages disadvantages of having a very long life in listening part - unemployment - population - diseases - poverty - war - starvation - terrorism Introduce the new lesson: - Show the pictures and ask st to name the inventions and the ideas in current and future - Ask some questions: “What picture you have of the future? Will life in the future be better, worse or the same as now? What you hope about the future?” => Lead to the new lesson: Describing the world in which you would like to live in the year 2020 B New lesson: Pre-writing: (8 minutes) Task - Ask student to read the request of task one and translate - Explain them how to the task - guide them some new words - Ask st to the task in pair & ask them which tense is used in the essay - Walk around and help them - Call some to write down the answer of question on the board & stand up and answer questions 2,3 - Correct the answers While-writing: (20 minutes) Task - Ask student to read the request of task two - Explain them how to the task - give them handout & guide them to write - Grammar & structure can be used in the writing: - S + would like to + V - Name the inventions and ideas (aircraft, vertical farm, city water, Biodiesel, rain- making technique, 3-D printer, solar charger, medical incubator) Sts answer the questions - Write down Answer: + World: Peaceful, no war, no conflicts, no threat of terrorism, people live in harmony + Employment: everyone has a job + Environment: clean and healthy, less noise, less population, having larger parks, wild life is protected + People: Less materialistic, less selfish, less violent and more loving - S + would wish to + V - S + will + V Tenses of verbs: Simple present and simple future + Connectors : first/ second/ next / then / and / beside… - Let st work in groups to the task based on the suggested words on hand out =>The writing should begin with: My idea world I would like to live in by the year 2020 would be different from the one we are living today… - Walk around and help them - Call each group to on board - Correct - Show some samples of writing Sample 1: My ideal world will be an interesting one There will be no longer terrorism All people will have jobs with high salary We will use modern computers Instead of typing on computers, we'll say the words and the computers will type them People can breathe fresh air and live in clean environment Especially, people will use motorbikes which run on solar energy People at that time will be richer and they will live longer thanks to the environment Sample 2: Life will be very different in 2020 in all the fields of activity First of all, it seems that TV channels will have disappeared Music, films, programmes, newspapers and books will come to us by computer In what concerns the environment, agriculture is changing and people are growing fruit and vegetables to export This - Listen to the teacher - Do the task * Suggestion: All countries in the world will be close to each other There won’t be terrorism & confliction Our living standards will be improved 3.We would live in clean and healthy environment we would also breathe fresh air and eat healthier food 4.We will be looked after by a modern medical system people’s life expectancy is longer cures for fatal disease would be found : such as cancer is curable, AIDS is brought under control All people will have jobs with high salary We will use modern computers Instead of typing on computer, we will say the words and the computer will type them 10 factories’ work will be done by robots 11 cars instead of petrol , they will run on anything from electricity to methane gas people will use motorbikes which run on solar energy 12 My main desire is to see people be richer and live longer uses a lot of water Demand for water will increase ten times and there could be serious shortages Water could be the cause of war if we don't act now In transport, cars will run on new, clean fuels and they will go very fast We will see robots everywhere- in factories, schools, offices, hospitals, shops and homes Last but not least, medicine technology will have conquered many diseases We will be able to help blind and deaf people see again and hear again Post-writing: (8 minutes) - Ask some groups to represent their work, ask other to give remark - Represent the task on board if being asked - Choose some good writing to read in class and give Read the writing to get others’ remarks remark - Do as the teacher asked C Homework: (2 minutes) - Ask students to rewrite the task at home and prepare part Language Focus at home - Listen to the teacher and write down homework HANDOUT ( Unit – Writing) All countries in the world/ close to each other No terrorism & confliction Our living standards /improve live / clean/ healthy environment / breathe fresh air / eat healthier food look after / a modern medical system people’s life expectancy / longer cures for fatal disease/ find : cancer / curable, AIDS/ brought under control 7.All people/ have/ jobs/ high salary We/ use modern computers Instead of/ type/ on computer,/ we/ say the words/ and/ computer/ type/ them 10 factories’ work / /robots 11 cars instead of petrol , they /run / anything from electricity to methane gas people/ use/ motorbikes/ run/ solar energy 12 My main desire/ see/ people/be richer/ live longer
