The Present Progressive Tense

- T ask Ss to re- tell structures of present progressive tense

- Usages: diển tả hành động đang xảy ra ngay khi ta nĩi

Notes: - Cĩ một số động từ tận cùng bằng chữ e câm: ta phải bỏ chữ e rồi mới thêm ing

vào sau động từ write – writing, ride – riding , drive - driving…

Trong các câu khẳng định, chúng ta thường dùng “a lot of” nhiều hơn “Much” rất ít dùngtrong câu khẳng định Ví dụ ta nói:

hoặc: There has been a lot of rain recently (Gần đây trời mưa rất nhiều) mà không nói làThere has been much rain recently

Nhưng chúng ta lại dùng “too much” trong các câu khẳng định

Tuy nhiên much of có thể đi với tên người và tên địa danh:

Many/much of + determiner (a, the, this, my ) + noun

4 Much:

Many dùng nhiều trong câu phủ định và câu nghi vấn, trong câu khẳng định có thể dùngcác loại từ khác như plenty of, a lot, lots of để thay thế

Many a + singular noun + singular verb: Biết bao nhiêu.
