1.Presenting first main point (The first part is becoming presented by Nguyễn Thu Huyền)

What is a long life?

Japan has one of the highest life expectancies in the world, and it’s no surprise that many of the world’s longest-living people are Japanese “Mrs Kane Tanaka,119 years old and recognized by Guinness World Records as the oldest living person on the planet, passed away on April 19, 2022 in Fukuoka Prefecture.”

A long life: “The ability to live longer than normal, longer than most people around you” Living a long life is a combination of generation factors, lifestyle, attitudes and strong desires.

2.1 The purpose of living long life

Being able to live and do what you like is the dream of many people after suffering from serious diseases, so people need to know how to protect their health to live longer To have a health life, we need to pay attention to our own living habits and diet.

There is no one-size-fits-all answer to this question, as the best way to live a long life will vary depending on your individual circumstances and health However, there are a number of things you can do to increase your chances of living a long and healthy life, including:

• Eat a healthy diet This means eating plenty of fruits, vegetables, and whole grains, and limiting processed foods, sugary drinks, and unhealthy fats.

• Do regular exercise Aim for at least 30 minutes of moderate-intensity exercise most days of the week.

• Don't smoke Smoking is one of the leading causes of preventable death.

• Limit your alcohol intake Heavy drinking can increase your risk of a number of health problems, including heart disease, stroke, and cancer.

• Get enough sleep Most adults need around 7-8 hours of sleep.

• Manage stress Chronic stress can take a toll on your physical and mental health Find healthy ways to cope with stress, such as exercise, yoga, or meditation.

• Maintain a healthy weight Being overweight or obese increases your risk of a number of chronic diseases, including heart disease, stroke, and diabetes.

• See your doctor for regular checkups This will help you stay on top of your health and identify any potential problems early on.

In addition to the above lifestyle factors, there are a number of other things that may help you live a longer life, such as:

• Having strong social connections Social support has been linked to a number of health benefits, including reduced stress and lower mortality rates.

• Having a positive attitude Studies have shown that people with a positive outlook on life tend to live longer than those with a negative outlook.

• Living in a healthy environment This includes avoiding exposure to air pollution, secondhand smoke, and other harmful toxins.

2.2 Benefits of having a long life

• More time to spend with loved ones This includes family and friends, as well as romantic partners Having more time to spend with the people you care about can lead to greater happiness and fulfillment.

• More time to pursue your passions Whether you love to travel, learn new things, or create art, having a longer life gives you more time to do the things you enjoy.

• More time to make a difference in the world You can use your skills and experience to volunteer, mentor others, or start your own business Having a longer life gives you more time to leave a lasting impact on the world around you.

• More time to learn and grow As you age, you have the opportunity to learn from your experiences and become a wiser person You can also use your time to learn new skills and knowledge.

• More time to enjoy your retirement If you plan carefully, you can have a comfortable and enjoyable retirement You can use your time to travel, pursue hobbies, and spend time with loved ones.

In addition to these personal benefits, having a longer life can also benefit society as a whole For example, older adults can share their wisdom and experience with younger generations They can also volunteer their time and skills to help others Additionally, older adults can continue to work and contribute to the economy.

• Chronic diseases: As we age, we are more likely to develop chronic diseases such as heart disease, stroke, cancer, and Alzheimer's disease These diseases can be debilitating and can shorten our lifespan, even if we live to an old age.

• Frailty: Frailty is a condition that is characterized by weakness, fatigue, and slowness It is often associated with aging, and it can make it difficult to perform everyday tasks and can increase the risk of falls and other injuries.

• Social isolation: As we get older, we may lose friends and family members This can lead to social isolation, which can have a negative impact on our physical and mental health.

• Financial burden: Living a long life can be expensive, especially if we need long-term care This can be a burden on our families and on society as a whole.
