1 XÂY DỰNG HỆ THỐNG ĐỀ ÔN TẬP GIÚP HỌC SINH CHINH PHỤC CÁC ĐỀ THI MƠN HĨA HỌC BẰNG TIẾNG ANH Giáo viên, TTCM: Phạm Thị Dung Tổ Hóa Học, trường THPT Nguyễn Khuyến I Điều kiện, hoàn cảnh tạo sáng kiến - Trong xu hội nhập quốc tế ngày sâu rộng, việc học sử dụng tiếng Anh giao tiếp việc tra cứu tài liệu nước ngồi u cầu vơ quan trọng lực lượng lao động trẻ Vì vậy, vai trị nhà trường phổ thơng trang bị cho học sinh kiến thức kĩ để em tự tin sử dung tiếng Anh giao tiếp tra cứu thông tin, kiến thức internet tài liệu nước ngoài, để em thích ứng với mơi trường hoàn cảnh khác - Tỉnh Nam Định tỉnh nước tổ chức hội thi ―Giải tốn mơn khoa học tiếng Anh‖ Mục đích hội thi thúc đẩy phong trào học tiếng Anh nhà trường kích thích khả sử dụng cơng cụ tiếng Anh để tìm hiểu mơn học khác, giúp giáo viên học sinh tiếp cận kiến thức khoa học lý thú từ so sánh nội dung đề cập sách tiếng Việt với kiến thức cập nhật tài liệu nước ngồi, kích thích khả tự học, tự khám phá tình yêu khoa học em học sinh - Từ năm học 2015-2016, Sở GD-ĐT Nam Định bắt đầu tổ chức hội thi ―Giải tốn mơn khoa học tiếng Anh‖ Cho đến nay, hội thi diễn đặn ( trừ năm học 2019-2020 2021-2022: không tổ chức diễn biến phức tạp dịch bệnh), tạo nên phong trào dạy học sử dụng tiếng Anh môn khoa học trường phổ thông Tỉnh ( đặc biệt trường chất lượng cao) II Mô tả giải pháp Mô tả giải pháp trước tạo sáng kiến - Một thực tế dễ nhận thấy việc học sinh chủ động sử dụng tiếng Anh để tìm kiếm thơng tin phục vụ cho mục đích học tập mơn khoa học hạn chế Nguyên nhân việc là: +) Trước hết, mục tiêu học tập đại đa số học sinh để phục vụ kì kiểm tra, kì thi Các đề kiểm tra hay đề thi theo mô tuyp câu hỏi đóng, nặng tính tốn, câu hỏi mở thấy Vì để điểm cao em thường chọn giải pháp luyện giải tốn khó thầy giáo hay sách tham khảo, em thường khơng có ―nhu cầu‖ tìm hiểu thêm kiến thức liên quan đến giảng, đặc biệt thông tin tiếng Anh +) Rất nhiều em học sinh lực tiếng Anh hạn chế Các em ngại sử dụng tiếng Anh giao tiếp kể việc tra cứu thông tin - Từ thực tế trên, thấy rõ vai trị vơ quan trọng nhà trường đặc biệt đội ngũ thầy cô giáo trực tiếp giảng dạy việc kích thích khả tư nhu cầu tìm hiểu kiến thức liên quan đến học em học sinh - Tại trường THPT Nguyễn Khuyến, năm gần đây, kiểm tra định kì, nhà trường u cầu mơn khoa học có tối thiểu hai câu hỏi trắc nghiệm tiếng Anh mức độ nhận biết thông hiểu Vì vậy, q trình giảng dạy, thầy cung cấp cho em học sinh từ vựng chuyên môn liên quan đến chương, bài; giới thiệu cho em trang wed phù hợp để em tra cứu thông tin, đồng thời hướng dẫn em cách đọc tài liệu tiếng Anh ( đặc biệt với đối tượng học sinh khá, giỏi) - Với thân tôi, qua kinh nghiệm bồi dưỡng học sinh tham gia hội thi‖ Giải toán mơn khoa học tiếng Anh mơn Hóa học‖ số năm thấy việc lồng ghép tiếng Anh vào môn khoa học nhà trường muốn đạt hiệu cần phải thực bước, khơng nóng vội Giai đoạn một: Làm quen với tiếng Anh Hóa học: Cung cấp cho học sinh ngơn ngữ hóa học bản: Tên nguyên tố tiếng Anh, cách đọc tên hợp chất (axit, bazo, muối, oxit) tiếng Anh, thuật ngữ phòng thí nghiệm hóa học, cách thu khí, tách chất, loại phản ứng hay gặp Giai đoạn hai: Hướng dẫn học sinh cách trình bày tốn hóa học tiếng Anh: Lựa chọn tập điển hình, đơn giản , cung cấp câu dẫn hay gặp lý luận để học sinh hình dung cách trình bày hồn chỉnh theo mạch tư logic em Từ em khơng thấy khó khăn hay ngại đưa tiếng Anh vào việc học Hóa học Trong năm gần đây, số trường đại học ( kể trường đại học tốp đầu) mở rộng hình thức xét tuyển đại học, có hình thức xét tuyển thông qua kết học bạ giải học sinh giỏi cấp Tỉnh Ví dụ năm học 2019-2020, em Trần Thị Ngọc Anh – 12A3 đỗ đại học Kinh Tế Quốc Dân nhờ giải hội thi Giải tốn mơn khoa học tiếng Anh mơn Hóa học mà em tham gia năm lớp 11 3 Năm 2018-2019 viết sáng kiến ―Xây dựng hệ thống tập hướng dẫn học sinh học môn khoa học tự nhiên tiếng Anh mơn Hóa học‖ cơng nhận SKKN cấp nhành Sở KH-CN đánh giá công nhận sáng kiến có tính ứng dụng cao, phổ biến rộng rãi, đồng nghiệp Tỉnh sử dụng đánh giá cao Tiếp theo sáng kiến đó, qua năm bồi dưỡng nhận thấy để học sinh đạt kết cao kì thi thân em phải chủ động, tích cực, sau có phần móng, tảng mà thầy cung cấp thi em phải tích cực đọc thêm sách nước làm nhiều đề theo mẫu chung Sở Vì vậy, để em học sinh thuận lợi việc ôn luyện, cố gắng sưu tầm biên soạn hệ thống đề ôn tập mơn Hóa học tiếng Anh Hệ thống đề em sử dụng sau tự học phần hệ thống lý thuyết tập sáng kiến Trong tài liệu này, biên soạn 20 đề theo cấu trúc đề thi học sinh giỏi Hóa học tiếng Anh tỉnh Nam Định dùng làm tài liệu tự học cho học sinh bồi dưỡng trường THPT Nguyễn Khuyến hai năm học 2020-2021 2021-2022 Mô tả giải pháp sau tạo sáng kiến Trước hết, biết dạy học môn khoa học tiếng Anh, có mơn hóa vấn đề không đơn giản giáo viên học sinh Hiệu việc phụ thuộc vào trình độ chun mơn, lực tiếng Anh, nhiệt tình thầy tính tự giác, tình u với mơn học lực nhận thức học sinh Do đó, đối tượng tiếp cận sáng kiến chủ yếu học sinh thầy cô dạy mơn Hóa học trường THPT chất lượng cao thầy cô em học sinh tham gia vào kì thi giải tốn mơn khoa học tiếng Anh cuả nhà trường khác Đây hệ thống đề ơn tập, để làm tốt nội dung này, em phải nghiên cứu xong nội dung tiếng Anh mơn Hóa học chương trình lớp 10 học kì I chương trình lớp 11 Tất nội dung tơi trình bày chi tiết sáng kiến ―Xây dựng hệ thống tập hướng dẫn học sinh học môn khoa học tự nhiên tiếng Anh mơn Hóa học‖ Mỗi đề có phần đề ( 35 câu trắc nghiệm – điểm tập tự luận – điểm) phần đáp án ( bảng đáp án phần trắc nghiệm lời giải chi tiết phần tự luận) Nội dung câu hỏi trắc nghiệm liên quan đến nội dung sở Hóa học, kiến thức tính chất vật lý, tính chất hóa học, ứng dụng, điều chế chất Đặc biệt đề có tập phân tích hình ảnh, xử lý số liệu, nội dung liên quan đến kiến thức thực tế nhằm phát huy lực giải vấn đề học sinh, hạn chế tối đa tập nặng tính tốn Cấu trúc đề ôn tập bám sát theo cấu trúc đề thi tỉnh, giúp em ôn tập hiệu tự tin tiếp xúc với đề thi thật làm thật tốt để đạt kết cao 5 Phần hai: Hệ thống đề ôn tập ĐỀ ÔN TẬP SỐ I PART I (7.0 points) Question 1.Felipe is observing how acetic acid (vinegar) and sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) react with one another in a volcano model What evidence can Felipe look for to indicate a chemical reaction has taken place?
