(1)Week 19: Unit 10: Lesson 3: Monday, January 7th 2013 Our break time Pages 70 – 71 I, Objectives: By the end of this lesson, Students will be able to: - Know the way how to say like or don’t like about games and activities at break time - Develop speaking and listening, and writing skill II, Teaching methods: - Communicative method - Techniques: + Work in pairs + Work in groups, discuss + Ask and answer III, Teaching aids: - Teacher’s aids: Tape cassette, pictures, poster, word cards - Students’ aids: book, notebook, workbook IV,Languages focus:  Vocabulary: review  Sentence patterns: Do you like………………  Yes , I  No, I don’t I like……… VI Procedures: Ti m Stages e 3’ Teacher’s activities Students’activitive -s I Warm up: Network: about games and activities at break time 20 II.Presentation ’ 1, listen and repeat Give games and activities Look at the picture - Have Ss to look at the book at page 70 answer the questions and identify the characters - Play the recording all the way through for Ss to listen as they read the dialogue - Play the recording again for Ss to repeat the lines in the speech bubbles listen (2) 20 ’ 2, Look and say two times - Play the recording again for the whole class to repeat each line in the text a few times Ensure their correct pronunciation (sentence stress, the assimilation of sound and intonation) - Have Ss look at the pictures a, b, c and d on page 71 Elicit the characters in the pictures and ask Ss some questions Recall sentence patterns you like…………? Yes , I No, I don’t I like………… - T models the dialogue Do you like playing football?
