I.Objective :

- By the end of the lesson , students will be able to recognize and pronounce the letter Cc and its sound correctly

- Understand, recognize and say the three Ee words - Write the letter Ee

1 Language focus:

Vocabulary: egg, elephant, elf , elbow Sight words: an, hello

2 Skill: - Skill: listening, speaking ,reading , writing 3.Attitude: to teach ps like elephant……

II Teaching aids:

1 Teacher: - Book, CD, phonics cards, paper including the lyrics of the chant

2 Student: - Student’s book, Activity book III Method:

- TPA, PPP IV.Procedures: 1 Organization: - Greeting

Greet the pupils : hello, I’m … Whole class respond by saying hello 3 New lesson ( 30’ )

-Introduction of letter E , It’s sound and how to pronounce the words beginning with Ee - Use a card with letter Ee or write on the board the letter Ee to introduce to the students the new lesson

- Ask students how to pronouce the letter name and the letter sound by saying “ This is the letter Ee /i / The letter E says / e/

- Write letter Ee in the air

-Repeat several times and check student’s pronunciation(letter Ee / i / and its sound /e / -Use the phonics cards with glass ,goat and garden , read the words out loud and ask students to repeat

-Use gestures (hand actions ) to help students to understand the meanings of the three words -Check student’s understanding T says the words,all ss actiuons and vice versa -Call some ss to say the words out loud and correct their mistakes

* Practice 5’

*Activity1 : Memory game

- Put the phonics cards of egg, elf, elephant Ee on the board

- Ak ss to memorise the order of these cards - Ask ss to close their eyes ,remove one phonics card radmly and ask individual ss to name it

- Continue changing the other cards

- Remember to correct student’s pronunciation throughout the lesson

*Activity 2: Where the letter 3’

- Ask ss to work in groups T hangs out the photographs about the storry and ask ss to circle the letter

- T give the time

- T corrects and praise the winner * Production:

- Show the letter Ee again , and ask ss to write the Ee in air with their fingers

- Ask ss to write down the words egg, elf, elephant into their notebook

2 Listen and point Colour 10’

- Ask ss to look at the books and listen to the words Hello, egg !

Hello, elf ! Hello, elephant !

-Use gestures ( hand actions ) to help ss to understanding the meaning of command

-Ask ss to repeat by using the phonics cards of cat, carrot, clock combining with gestures

Memory game

- Put the phonics cards egg, elf, elephant Ee

2 Listen and point Colour Hello, egg !

- Ask ss to match

- T goes round the classroom ,asking ss to name the items they are match

*Activitiy :Pass the phonic card

- Using the phonic cards of E egg, and line up the ss into teams

-Give the first ss of each team a phonics card and say “go “

- Ss say the coresponding words and pass the phonics card over their head to the ss behind them

- Next, those ss repeat the words and pass the phonics card between their legs to the ss behind them

- Continue to pass the phonic card over their head and between their legs to the last ss - The last ss in each team give the card to teacher and say the word correctly They will get one point

- Which team has the most point wiil be winner Continue the game as many times as necessary

3 Chant and show: 5’

-Put up the lyris of the chant on the board - Without music , use the phonics card and step ss to sing the chant with cat Do the same with carrot and clock

- With music ,the whole class sing the whole chant Do the chant again using gestures for eacg word

- Give feedback 3 Production: 3’

-Ask ss to write the chant in to note book -Ask ss to excersise in the work book

- By the end of the lesson , students will be able to practise the sound of the letter Ee and the coresponding words

- Learn and practise reading skills and sing a song 1 Language focus:

Vocabulary: egg, elf, elephant Sight word: an, hello

2 Skill: - Skill: listening, speaking ,reading , writing 3.Attitude: to teach ps like elephant……

II Teaching aids:

1 Teacher: - Book, CD, phonics cards, paper including the lyrics of the chant

3 New lesson 30’

-Ask ss to point letter /e / in the word ant and point to the picture of egg

Do the same with carrot and clock -Ask ss to listen the story and point to the picture of key words when they hear them in the story

- Ss work in pairs ,one read and one check

- Correct their mistakes

- Ask ss point to the sight word.Ss listen and repeat and read aloud

2.Song : 10’

- Put up the egg on the clock phonics card on board

- Ask ss to point the ant and say the a cat on the clock

.Do the same with the rest of the song - Play the CD Ask ss to listen and sing - Ask ss to take out the a cat on the clock

picture cards and put them on the desk - Play the CD and ask ss listen and hold up the corresponding card

* Pactise: 8’

*Activity : Which one is missing

- Put the card up on the table and give ss a minute to look at them and ask ss close their eyes and take away a card

- Ss open their eyes and name the card missing
