Lesson 1: Part A, B, C I Objective:

- By the end of this lesson, students will be able to introduce family members Vocabulary: father, mother.

- Encourage Ss to use the structure more regulary II Teaching aids:

+ Teacher’s aids: Ss’book and teacher’s book, class CDs, flashcards, projector /TV. + Students’ aids: Student book, notebooks, workbook.

Activity:“GUESS” game (5’)

- T arrange the flashcards on the board - T write a number under each flashcard

- T asks Ss look at the flashcards for the count of ten

- T turn the flashcards over to face the board when Ss are not looking

- T calls out a number and have students take turns guessing the face down card

- T turn the card over after each guess

Activity 2: Listen and point (8’)

- T introduce the situation, point at each person in the picture and asks Ss call out the words“father, mother”

- T play the CD and asks Ss look at the picture - T demonstrate the activity by pointing at "father", "mother" in the picture

- T play the CD again for Ss listen and repeat - T play the CD again for Ss listen and point - T point at each picture and asks Ss call out the "words again “father/ mother/ Kim.”

Activity 3:Now, sing a song (5’)

- T plays the CD and asks Ss to listen - Ss listen

- T plays the CD and asks Ss turn to page 68 - Ss turn to page 68

- T plays the CD and asks Ss sing the song - Ss sing the song together

- T monitors and correct their mistakes

- T the same activity with another flashcard - T divides the class into pairs

- T asks Ss to work in pairs to practice the conversations and swap roles

- Ss to work in pairs

- T cals some pairs demonstrate the activity in front of the class

*Activity 2: Say (10’)

- T divide the class into groups of four

- T calls student A introduce student C and D as their family members to Student B, and asks Student B say “Hello!” Have Students C and D say “Hello!” to Student B

- T asks Ss to swap roles and repeat the activity - T calls some pairs demonstrate the activity in front of the class

Activity: Unscramble sentences (10’)

- T asks Ss to work in groups of four

- T gives each groups some flash cards, each card has a word on it

- T set a time limit for the completion of the task - T aarrange words to make sentences There are sentences for each group
