WEEK 26 Date of preparing: 04/03/2017 Date of teaching: Monday, 06/03/2017 Morning: Period 2: 4A Afternoon: Period 1: 4B UNIT 15 WHEN'S CHILDREN'S DAY? Lesson – Part 1, 2, I Objectives: By the end of the lesson Ps will be able to ask and answer questions about what people at a festival, using What you at/on + (festival)? > I II Language focus - What you at/on + (festival)? > I - Vocabulary: decorate the house, make Banh Chung, buy food and drink, visit grandparents, watch firework display, buy flowers III Teaching aids Teacher's: student's and teacher's book, pictures, computer Students': books, notebooks, workbooks III Procedures A MAIN ACTIVITY Warm up - Spend a few minutes revising the previous lesson by calling some pupils to the front of the class to sing Happy New Year! The class may sing the song together and clap hands or actions Look , listen and repeat Work - Point to the pictures and ask these questions: Who are they? Where are they? What are they talking about? - listen to T introductions of each picture Work - listen to the recording a few times - listen and repeat line by line - say the words in each bubble B PRACTICE ACTIVITY Point and say Work - Have Ss to give the main structures of the lesson and vocabulary (pictures) What you at/on + (festival)? > I - Point to the first picture and get one pupil to ask and answer Write on the board - Do choral and individual repetition Work - practice asking and answering Work - some pairs act out in class, others observe - give comments and correct their pronunciation Let's Talk Work - look and read the questions in silence and identify the answers When's ?
