Vocabulary: mall, roof, convenient, selection, resident, discount, air- conditioned. 2. Grammar: The present perfect tense with “for” and “sence”. III. Teaching aids: Poster, flip-chart, wordcards. IV. Techniques: groupwork, T/F statements, pairwork. V. Time: 45ms. VI. Procedures: Teacher and Sts’ activities Contents 1. Warm-up: (Questions, brainstorming). T asks sts some questions. Sts answer. T: What advantages if the supermarket has all things? Sts “Brainstorming”. * Questions: 1. What do you like doing in your freetime? I like watching T.V. playing tennis. going to the book store. going shopping. 2. Where do you go shopping? I go shopping in the market. 3. Is there a market in your neighborhood? Yes, there is. 4. T calls Sts to go to the board and correct false statements. * Answer: correct false statements: 1. F (seven days a week). 2. F (50 stores). 3. F (Not everyone). T asks Sts to work in pairs to ask and answer the question. Call some pairs to play the roles infront of the class. Call Sts to go to the board to write. T checks and corrects. b) Answer: 1. All the shop are under one roof. 2. There are 50 air-conditioned specialty stores, 4 movie theaters, 10 restaurants and children’s play area. 3. They think the mall will take their business. 4. Post-reading: T asks Sts to work in groups and talk about advantages in Tran Phu shopping mall. Call some groups to talk infront of the class. T checks and corrects. * Talk about advantages in Tran Phu shopping mall: -All the shops are under one roof. -A lot of goods. -Shop in comfort. -Won’t notice the weather. -Discount during the first two week. -There are 4 movie theaters. 10 restaurants. children’s play area. 5.
