It’s……… II Materials: - Teacher’s: books, pictures, flashcards, CD - Students’: books, notebooks, crayons, pens, boards III Method: Communicative Language Teaching, Work individually, pair work, group work III Teaching activities: Activity 1: Warm up: Hangman TIME - T divides the class into 2groups  In turn, each group will guess the letter of the word Activity 2: Presentation: Look, listen and repeat • Pre-Teach vocabulary: - time : - o’clock : • Set the scene: Grade + Show the picture a and elicit the answer of who the characters are + Explain what happens in the picture + Have Ss repeat the text in the bubbles a few times + Do choral & individual repetition, pointing to the characters speaking + Play the tape for Ss to listen & say along + Write the pattern on the board A: What time is it ? I ……… at ……… II Materials: - Teacher’s: Textbook – workbook, poster of warmer, pictures - Students’: books, notebooks, crayons, pens, boards III Method: Communicative Language Teaching / Work individually, pair work, group work III Teaching activities: Activity 1: Warm up Slap the board -T divides class into groups, Ss make two lines - One by one student slap to the word they hear (T reads some words ) - T checks and gives feedback Activity 2: Listen and draw the time (p.9) Grade * Procedure: - T shows the pictures on board - T & good Ss run through the pictures - Ss‘ prediction the time in each picture - T plays recording 3times, Ss listen & draw the time they hear (individually) - Ss share with their partner - let weak or average Ss correct on board (let good Ss tell the words they can hear) - T’s feedback - Let Ss practice in pairs - Call on some pairs to perform in front of the class Activity 3: Draw and write the time * Procedure: - Show the posters on board Run through the pictures - Ss discuss with partners then draw & write individually  share with their friends - Choose good Ss ( in teams) write on the board - T checks and gives feedback Activity 4: Let’s play: Grade * Procedure: - T explains how to play this game - Ask Ss sit in circles - S1 in each circle whispers a sentence to S2 (Ex: I get up at six o’clock) S2 whispers a sentence to S3 Continue until the last St has heard the sentence and said it aloud The group that says the sentence correctly in the shortest time will win the game  Consolidation: - T reviews the lesson - Give feedback  Homework: - WB: B, C Week: Period: Unit 11: WHAT TIME IS IT?
