WEEK 32: UNIT TWENTY- FIVE : LETTER Y Date of preparation: 22/ / 2012

Date of teaching : From 23 / 4/ 2012 to 27/ / 2012 I AIM:

* At the end of the lession Ss will be able to: - Read correctly the letter Y

- Know two new words with letter Y, those are "Goat" and "Pig" II OBJECTIVES:

* Pronunciation: Y

* Vocabulary: Goat (n): Con dê

Pig (n) : Con lợn (heo) III PROCEDURES :

A WARM-UP

* Checking old lession :

- T asks Ss to remind the old words

- Asking them to read and translate into Vietnamese B Presentation:

* Leading the new lession by asking some animals bring up in house

- T gives the letter Y and ask Ss speak it in Vietnamese

- Introdicing the letter Y

- T read the letter F for times and asks Ss to read after

- Call on somes Ss to stand up to read aloud - Checking their pronunciation

* Listen and repeat:

- T gives picture ang show on picture of "Goat" and ask:

"What is this animal ?"

- T read aloud the word and asks Ss to read after - Call on somes Ss to stand up to read aloud - Other Ss recommemt

- - T gives picture ang show on picture of "Pig" and ask:

"Who is this ?"

- T read aloud the word and asks Ss to read after - Comment Ss' pronunciation

* Look and say:

- T gives pictures of Goat and Pig, then shows patch of each picture and asks Ss their name - T reads in English and asks Ss to translate into Vietnamese

- T write the two new words on the board and asks Ss repeat after

* Read and match:

- T gives picture and asks Ss to join - Call on some Ss to read aloud
