Lesson 1: Part 1-2-3 I Objectives: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to - Know the vocabularies: address, lane, street, tower, road - Ask and answer questions about someone's address by using sentence patterns: What’s your address? It’s - Express their concern about their friends’ address II Teaching aids: Teacher’s: book, pictures, laptop and speakers Students’: books, notebooks, workbooks III Procedures: A Warm up: - Gets students to join into the activity - T asks Ss to sing a song - Introduces the new lesson B New lesson: Activity 1: Look, listen and repeat Step1: Discover the picture: - How many people are there in the picture? - Who are they? - Where are they? - What’s he like? Step 2: Listen and repeat - T plays the recording and Ss listen and repeat once or twice - Have Ss repeat in chorus or in pairs if necessary Step 3: Share ideas - Focus on the structure, lead in the new lesson - Plays the tape and asks students repeat - T ask Ss to work in pairs - Teach new words ** T observes and gives comments (pronunciation and intonation) ** Q_A: check Ss’ understanding Activity 2: Point and say Aims of this activity: Asking and answering questions about someone's address Step 1: Focus on the structure, pre-teach vocabulary Vocabulary: address, lane, street, tower, road Structure: What’s your address?
