UNIT 7:HOW DO YOU LEARN ENGLISH? LESSON 2– PERIOD 2( PART : 4-5-6)

I Aims:

1 Knowledge: After the lesson, students are able to:

- Ask and answer questions about the importance of learning English Vocab: French, language, foreign

Pattern: “Why you learn English? – Because I want to…” 2 Skills:.-

3.Attitude:-In this lesson, studious and obedient students and love their hometown, family and friends

II Teaching aids

1 Teacher’s: English book , lesson plan, pictures, word cards, tape, cassette Students’: books, notebooks, workbooks

III.Teaching methods

-Communicative approach.

-Techniques:+ Ask and answer (say individually) + Work in pairs/ groups Discuss IV Procedures:Time: 35’-40’

Activity 6

Tell the class that they are going to play How do I learn English?

T sticks the game on the bb and guides ss to play

Play the game

Devide the class into two teams Show the first team a word One pupil of the first team must act it out If the second eam guesses the word correctly, they get a point.Then let the second team acr out a word whie the first team

guesses Put team with more points at the end of the game on the board

Set a time limit for pupils to play the game The team with more points at the end of the game wins

Have the class make sentences with the words on the board

Pattern: : “How you practise…? – I…” Word stress: How you, practise, writing, reading, speaking, learn

2 Skills:.- Develop Ss writing and listening skills

3.Attitude:-In this lesson, studious and obedient students and love their hometown, family and friends

II Teaching aids

III.Teaching methods

-Communicative approach.

Vocabulary: names of books/story, kind, hard-working, clever, gentle, generous, funny, fairy tale, ghost, scary, character

2 Skills:.- Develop reading and speaking skill

T follows steps of picture cues Look at the pictures to identify the

characters( ) and the context in the book guess what the story is about and point at each picture to elicit their answers to these questions Play the recording all the way through for pupils
