Lesson P1,2,3.

I Objectives: After the lesson, sts will be able to pronounce the sounds of the letters ie in the words field, piece and ea in the words teacher and reading respectively

II Language focus:

1 Warm up:

-Has sts play game:Palmanism! 2 New lesson.

2.1 Listen and repeat.

- Have Ss open the book, look at the words field ,pieceand teacher, reading and notice the letter coloured differently in both words

-Produce the sound of the letter ie in the word field ,piece and ea in the word teacher, reading

-Ask Ss to say what they think about when they hear the sounds

- Have pupils listen and repeat -sts practice individually

-some sts read aloud in front of the class

2.2 Listen and circle

-Tell sts that they are going to -Has sts read the sentences in silence before starting listen

-Ask Ss to listen to the recording and circle

-Ask sts to give the answers -T corrects if necessary * Key:

2.3 Let’s chant. -Introduce the chant: Jobs and places of work.

-Has sts listen times and repeat - Has sts chant and the actions - Has sts work in groups of four to practise chanting and doing the action -Call groups to the front of the class to chant and the actions The rest of the class claps along to the rhythm of the chant

-Has sts read the chant: Jobs and places of work 2.4 Read and complete.

- Has sts look at the part 4(Read and complete)and tell them what they have to

- Call some sts to the front and give the answer - Check the answers

UNIT 13:WOULD YOU LIKE SOME MILK? Lesson P1,2.

I Objectives: After the lesson, sts will be able to use the words and phrases related to food and drink

-ask and answer the question about fovourite food and drink,using: What’s your favourite food and drink?

II.Language focus:

- Vocabulary:food, drink, fish, chicken,orang juice, milk,beef,pork,water. Grammar:What’s your favourite food / drink?

1 Warm up:

-Has sts read the chant:jobs and places of work.

New lesson:

2.1 Look, listen and repeat.

- Has sts open their book at page 18 and look at the part 1: Look , listen and repeat

- Has sts look at the pictures and answer: Who are they?

What are they talking about?

- Play CD and ask sts listen and follow the words

- Play CD again, pausing after each sentence for sts to repeat chorally - Has sts repeat in groups

- Ask sts practice the dialogue in pairs - Check some pairs

- Ask sts some questions: What’s your favourite food? Do you like orange juice? 2.2 Point and say.

-Guide sts to understand the task of part

- Has stslook at the pictures and identify the pictures

- Play CD two times, pausing after each situation and ask sts listen and tick - Ask sts give the answer and have sts listen again to check the answer

-Write them to make the sentences - Has sts exercise individually -Ask sts to write their answers in the paper and stick on the board
