UNIT 18:WHAT’S YOUR PHONE NUMBER? Lesson P1,2,3.

I.Objectives:After the lesson, sts will be able to accept and decline an invitation,using:Would you like to….?

I’d love to./sorry, I can’t.

II Langguage focus:

+ Vocab:go for a walk, go for a picnic, go fishing, go skating. + Structure: Would you like to….?

1 Warm up:

-Has sts play game: Guessing game -Divide sts into teams

-Has sts play

2 New lesson:

2.1 Look, listen and repeat.

-Has sts look at the pictures and answer: Who are they?

What are they talking about?

-Play CD and ask sts listen and follow the words

- Play CD again , pausing after each sentence for sts to repeat chorally - Has sts read in groups

- Call sts read as model

-Ask sts practice the dialogue in pairs - Check some pairs

2.2 Point and say.

-T elicites some new words and teach: go for a walk, go for a picnic, go fishing, go skating.

-Check sts’s understanding: slap the board

- Check comprehension and give feedback

-Play the recording times for sts to listen

-Do the task and check their answers

1 Warm up:

-Has sts play game: Find the phone number.

2 New lesson.

2.1 Listen and repeat.

- Have Ss open the book, look at the words re’peat, en’joy, in’vite,com’plete and notice how to pronounce the words and stress marks

-Ask Ss to say what they think about when they hear the sounds

- Have pupils listen and repeat -sts practice individually

-some sts read aloud in front of the class

2.2 Listen and circle Then say the

sentences aloud

-Tell sts that they are going to -Has sts read the sentences in silence before starting listen

-Ask Ss to listen to the recording and circle the correct answer

-T corrects if necessary

- Has sts read the sentences aloud again

2.3 Let’s chant.
