Time:35-40 minutes I Overview
1 Objectives: By the end of the period, students will be able to
Greet and respond to the greetings, using How are you? and I’m fine,
thanks And you?.
Say goodbye, using Goodbye/Bye!
2 Topic – Language target:
Vocabulary: how, fine, thanks, thank you, How are you?. Sentence patterns:
How are you?
I’m fine, thanks/ thank you.

II. Procedure

teams: team Sun and team Moon
- Have team Sun say first, then change the role
- Have students work in pairs - Call some pairs to say aloud - Correct the pronunciation, if
necessary
