Activity: Memory Game

- Put up the phonics cards on the board

- Ask the students to memorise the order in which the items appear - Remove the phonics cards

- Ask a student to name the items in the correct order

- Do the same procedure with changing the order of the phonics cards 3 New lesson ( 30’ )

- T explain the activity

- T hangs the letter N,O, P, Q on the board and ask the students to say the letters N, O, P, Q

- T ask Ss to say the letter and the sound of Nn, Oo, Pp, Qq in chorous

- T Go around the classroom to provide any necessary help, ask individual students to say out the letter and the sound

Activity: Run and Touch (5’)

- T divides the class into two teams, A and B, make lines

- Put up the phonics cards (from part 3) on the board

- Say the word Two students, one from each team,

race to touch the cards

- The first student to touch the card wins a point for his/her team

- The team with more points wins the game

Activity Look at the picture, read the word (5’)

- T explain the activity

- T ask the students toloook at the picture and read the items

- Ss name the items

- T ask them to tick the correct letter that corresponds to each picture

- T go around the classroom to provide any necessary help, ask individual students to say out the sound or the item
