+ Teacher’s aids: Ss’book and teacher’s book, class CDs, flashcards, projector /TV. + Students’ aids: Student book, notebooks, workbook.

*Activity: “Unscramble”

- Divide the class into small groups and give each group a mini-board

- Show the unscramble words and ask the groups to write the correct answers on the mini-boards E.g okbo -> book

- The group with more correct words in shorter time will be the winner 3 New lesson (30’)

*Activity:The alphabet (5’)

- T plays the alphabet song and asks Ss to listen - T plays the CD again and sing the song

- T put the flashcards on the board for the letters in red (c and d)

- T point to each flashcard, call out the letter's name and asks Ss to repeat

*Activity Listen and repeat Trace (10’)

- T asks Ss to look at the letter.

- T plays the CD and asks Ss to listen and repeat all together and individually

- T correct Ss’s pronunciation if necessary

- T calls some Ss demonstrate the activity in front of the class

- T asks Ss to call out the letter sound.

- T asks Ss to look at the picture, letter and word. - T plays the CD and asks Ss to listen and point to the letter and word as they hear

- T asks Ss to look at the lyrics and pictures - T read the lyrics as a whole class
