Vocabulary:lemon, lion, lollipop. Sight words: look, and, hurrah. *Ss’ Tam:
- At the end of the lesson, he can read the letter and the sound Ll - Colour letter and the sound: Ll, lemon, lion and lollipop

2 Warm up (5’)
- T ask Ss to play a game: toss the envelop
- T give instruction for the game Ss will get an envelope with the previous flash cards inside While teacher plays the music, student tosses the envelop to the next person When the music stop, the student who is holding the envelop has to pick out one flash card and read aloud If the student reads correctly, continue to toss the envelop If the student reads incorrectly, he/she has to dance following a song then 3 New lesson (30')

* Activitiy 1: Listen, point, repeat Colour (7’) - T use a card with letter Ll (or write on board the letter Ll) to introduce to Ss the new lesson
- T instruct students how to pronounce the letter name and the letter sound by saying: “This is the letter L /el / The letter L says /l /.”

(2)- T ask Ss repeat several times and check students’ pronunciation (letter L /el / and its sound /l /) - Use the phonics cards with lemon, lion, and lollipop, read the words aloud for Ss to repeat. Vocab:
lemon: imitate eating a sour lemon lion: mime roaring
lollipop: imitate licking a lollipop
- Call some students to say the words out loud and correct their mistakes (if any)
*S’Tam:
- Read the letter and three words: Ll, lemon, lion, lollipop
Activity: Sit and Stand Game (3’)
- T show the phonics cards one by one For example, show the card with lion, but incorrectly say lemon or lollipop, the students will stand; if the words are correctly said, they will stay sitting - Do the same procedure for the other two cards Activity Listen and point Choose (5')
- Ss look at the book and listen to the expression: “Look !A lemon, And a lion, And a lollipop! Hurrah”, point to the object when they hear - Ask Ss listen and repeat the words for several times
*S’Tam:
- Color the letter and three words: Ll, lemon, lion, lollipop
Activity:run and touch (5’)
- T ivide class into two teams
- Put up the phonics cards on the board - Call out one of the words
- Two students, one from each team, run to the board and touch the cards
- The first student to touch the card wins a point for his/her team
- The team with the most points wins Activity 3: Chant and show! (5')
- Use the phonics cards on the board and have the students sing the chant with lemon Do the same with lion and lollipop

(3)- The whole class sings the whole chant Do the chant again using gestures for each word

- T ask Ss to sing the chant in lesson 1, keep the rhythm by clapping their hands and gesturing

- Play the CD again Ss listen and point to the pictures of the key words when they hear them in the story

- T point to the jelly and say: “the lion has a lollipop, hurrah, hurrah!” Ss repeat.

- T whisper the word kitten to a student
- Ss whispers the word to the student sitting next to him/her
