-Introduction of letter A , Its sound and how to pronounce the words beginning with Aa
- Use a card with letter Aa or write on the board the letter Aa to introduce to the students the new lesson
- Ask students how to pronouce the letter name and the letter sound by saying “ This is the letter Aa /ei / The letter A says / a/
-Repeat several times and check student’s pronunciation(letter Aa /ei / and its sound / / -Use the phonics cards with glass ,goat and garden , read the words out loud and ask

- Put the phonics cards of ant , apple, alligator , Aa on the board
- Ak ss to memorise the order of these cards - Ask ss to close their eyes ,remove one phonics card radmly and ask individual ss to name it - Continue changing the other cards
- Remember to correct student’s pronunciation throughout the lesson
*Activity 2: Where the letter 3’
- Ask ss to work in groups T hangs out the photographs about the storry and ask ss to circle the letter

- Show the letter Aa again , and ask ss to write the Aa in air with their fingers
- Ask ss to write down the words ant, apple, alligator into their notebook

-Ask ss to repeat by using the phonics cards of ant, apple ,alligator combining with gestures - Ask ss to colour the ant, the apple ,the alligator using any colour they like - T goes round the classroom ,asking ss to name the items they are coloring
*Activitiy :Pass the phonic card - Using the phonic cards of Aa, ant
,alligator,apple and line up the ss into teams -Give the first ss of each team a phonics card and say “go “
- Ss say the coresponding words and pass the

-Put up the lyris of the chant on the board - Without music , use the phonics card and step ss to sing the chant with ant Do the same with apple and alligator
- With music ,the whole class sing the whole chant Do the chant again using gestures for eacg word
