Use the pictures to elicit the word tall (adj) cao

- T sets the scene: How many pictures are there? Listen to the tape.

- Sts listen and repeat

Substitution Drill. Noughts and Crosses

- Divide the class into teams

- One team is Noughts (0) and the other is crosses(x)

- One team starts choosing a number and makes a question and an answer with the given words If the question and the answer are correct, T puts a mark (O or X) in that square

- The first team to get in a row (across, down or diagonally) wins the game
