I OBJECTIVES: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to know, ask & answer about color

1 Knowledge:

Vocabulary: Adjectives: black, white, gray, red, yellow, green, orange, blue, brown, purple

Grammar / Structures: What color is her hair? - It's dark. What color are her lips ? -They are red

2 Skill: Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing.

3 Attitude: It helps Ss to have motivation, happiness to communicate with each other in English Besides, the lesson can help Ss work harder and get moral sense

II.PREPARATION.

1 Teacher: lesson plan, textbook and stereo. 2 Students: textbook, notebook and workbooks.

III METHOD: Label the picture, Matching, Dialogue build, Picture Drill. IV PROCEDURE.

- Have Ss to match the words with their meanings on the board

3 Dialogue build(5’). - Present dialogue: Mai: I have a new doll. Hoa: What color is her hair? Mai: It’s black.

Hoa: What color are her eyes? Mai: They are blue.

- Have Ss listen and repeat - Have Ss practice

- Listen and guess the words - Listen and repeat

- Answer the T and copy down

- Individual work - Correct with the T - Listen to the T

3 Grammar(5’). Form:

What color + be + S ? S (It / They) + be + adj.

*Checking understanding: meaning, use, form, pronunciation

I. Practice(10’): Picture drill. - Run through the pictures

- Model the first picture Example exchange:

S1: What color is her hair? S2: It’s [ black ].

S3: What color are her eyes? S4: They are [ brown ]. - Elicit Ss to the rest - Have Ss practice

- Ask Ss to give the answers about color of things in classroom

Vocabulary: Adjectives of color, Adjectives of characteristic (review).Grammar / Structures: - What color is her hair? – It’s dark (review) - What color are her lips ? –They are red (review)

- “or” questions with adjectives: Are her lips full or thin? 2 Skill: Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing.
