Tiếng Anh là môn học đã và đang được đổi mới đi đầu tại các trường trung học phổ thông. Bộ GD ĐT đã xây dựng đề án nâng cao chất lượng dạy và học ngoại ngữ trên toàn quốc. Có thể thấy Tiếng Anh với tư cách là một môn học quan trọng đang là tiêu điểm được quan tâm và phát triển mạnh mẽ.
