listen and identify specific information related to theme Me and my family - read and identify specific information related to theme Me and my family - write about their parents - read, listen to and understand a short story II Teaching aids Teacher's: student's and teacher's book, pictures, computer Students': books, notebooks, workbooks III Procedures A MAIN ACTIVITY Warm up - Spend a few minutes revising the previous unit Get some pupils to play Dictation game Revision - Ask Ss to review some sentence patterns they've learned from unit 11 to unit 15 Ask Ss some questions about these - Ask Ss to work in groups to ask and answer b New lesson - T introduces the new lesson B.Practice activity Listen and tick : Work - look at the pictures to identify the pictures and the duty of the task Check understanding - Listen to the recording times and circle the correct answers Work - some pairs act out in class, others observe - give comments and correct their pronunciation Key: 1.a 2.a 3.b 4.b a Listen and number : Work - Develop Ss speaking and listening skills II Teaching aids Teacher's: student's and teacher's book, pictures, computer Students': books, notebooks, workbooks III Procedures A MAIN ACTIVITY Warm up: - Greetings - Have Ss play game Slap the board - Reintroduce the characters in story Cat and Mouse B PRACTICE ACTIVITY Read and listen to the story Put these lines in the correct bubbles: Work - look at the pictures and answer questions to remind them of the characters - listen and read the story in silence Work -listen and follow the story - listen the story and fill the gaps - Listen again and check the answers - Call some Ss to role play the story - Comment and give praise Keys: 1.d 2.b 3.c 4.a Correct the answers: Work -
