Therefore, it is very common in USA that if you see a person in the eye (if your looks connect with other person) when you are walking down the street or anywhere in a building, to say a friendly phrase. They smile a lot and talk easily to strangers, sometimes share personal stories. In an intentional first meeting, Americans often have customary handshake Americans rarely use both hands to shake.
