Objectives 1, Knowledge After this lesson, Ss can express agreements and disagreements Know some ways to give opinions 2, Language Be fluent with some agreement disagreement structures Use some ways to express ideas 3, Skill Improve speaking skill Improve interaction competence with other members in groups IV. Teaching aids Text book, projector, chalk, board V. Procedure Teacher’s Activities Students’ Activities Warm up (5 minutes) • Greet Ss • Warm Ss up Show a picture( Titanic ship) and the seat plan of a boat Ask Ss to answer (Do you know the name of this boatship? RMS Titanic ; and which film does it have? Titanic; Do you want to travel by this ship?) Introduce to Ss a picture of the seat plan of a ship and its section • Lead to the lesson • Greet T • Look at the screen and listen to the T • Answer T’s questions I, Pre speaking (10 minutes) • Talk about the picture of Lake Michigan in Chicago (It’s beautiful and modern because it has many high buildings and skyscrapers) • Introduce some new words and structures • Read and ask Ss to repeat 1. New words: 1. sundeck(n) boong tàu trên cùng 2. get sunburnt: rám nắng 3. suffer from st: chịu đựng bởi 4. section(n) khoang, phần 5. refreshment(n)= canteen 6. occupied(adj) đã sử dụng 7. put sbst + advp.p: đặt aicái gì vào đâu 8. travel sickness: say tàu xe 2.
