OBJECTIVES: By the end of the lesson, the student will be able to use vocabulary of parts of the body and the questions with “ this / that / these/ those”. II. LANGUAGE CONTENTS: * Grammar: 1 What’s this / that ? 2 This / that + is + parts of the body( singular). 3 What are these / those ? 4 These / those + are + parts of the body ( plural ). *Vocabulary: Head, shoulder, arm, chest, hand, finger, leg, foot, toe. III. TECHNIQUES: - Question & answer - Match - Blackboard drill IV. TEACHING AIDS: Textbook, chalkboard, cassette + tape, pictures. V. PROCEDURES: A. Greeting and checking attendance. B. Old lesson: C. New lesson: 1) Warm up: Teacher shows student a picture of the body Question – answer What is the picture about?  Parts of the body. 2 ) Presentation: *Pre – teach vocabularies . -head ( n) : đầu (Realia) -chest ( n ) : ngực (Visual) -shoulder ( n ) : vai (Visual) -arm ( n) : cánh tay (Realia) -leg ( n ) : cằng chân (Visual) -feet ( a foot ) (n ) : bàn chân (Visual) -finger ( n ) : ngón tay (Realia) -toe ( n ) : ngón chân (Realia) -hand ( n ) : bàn tay (Visual) 2 Trường: THCS Tân Hải Hồ Thanh Phát English 6 * Students read chorally. * Teacher calls on some students read aloud in front of the class. * Checking vocalbulary: Slap the board * Grammar: What is that? That is his head. What are those? Those are his fingers. 3 ) Practice: a. A1. Listen and repeat. * Students listen to the tape + repeat. * Use techniques. * Rub out and remember the labels. * Gets students to label the picture. * Teacher reads the imperative, beginning with “Simon says …”, students will do it * Simon Says: + Simon says touch your head. + Simon says touch your chest. + Simon says touch your shoulders. + Simon says touch your left hand. + Simon says touch your right hand. + Simon says touch your fingers. + Simon says touch your legs. + Simon says touch your feet. + Simon says touch your left foot. + Simon says touch your right foot. + Simon says touch your toes. b. A2. Practice with a partner. * Picture drill (A1 / p.96) - Teacher explains the practice asking and answering, noticing the use of “his” - Teacher points each part of the body and asks, students answer. LANGUAGE CONTENTS: * Grammar: S + have/has + (a/an) + adjective + N. *Vocabulary: Hair, eye, nose, mouth, ear, lips, teeth, round, oval. III. TECHNIQUES: - Questions & answers - Role play IV.
