Bước 3: Mở file vừa lưu, thực hiện cắt 20 nucleotide đầu tiên và cắt bớt đoạn trình tự kí hiệu N Trình tự đoạn Nucleotide của mẫu 20.9.ab1 sau khi cắt hình 2.3b.

Bước 4: Truy cập trang google.com tìm trang web https://blast.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov
Sau đó vào mục Web BLAST, chọn Nucleotide BLAST. a) b)

Bước 5: Copy trình tự mẫu 20.9.ab1 sau khi lược bỏ một số đoạn nucleotide vào Enter Query Sequence Chọn Somewhat similar sequences (blastn) tại Program Selection.

Kết quả BLAST nhận được cho thấy trình tự mẫu 20.9.ab1 có E-value đều bằng 0 thể hiện mức ý nghĩa thống kê cao và có duy nhất một giá trị Per Indent 100% trong tất cả các kết quả, tương ứng với tên loài Bacillus subtilis strain B18 16S ribosomal RNA gene Từ đó, có thể kết luận mẫu 20.9.ab1 có tên Bacillus subtilis.

Sau khi hoàn tất tìm kiếm, người dùng có thể tùy ý điều chỉnh các thông số hiển thị của cây phân loại, như kích thước (Layout → Điều chỉnh Tree Width/Height) và phông chữ tên loài trên cây (Taxon Names → Font → Điều chỉnh format → OK).
Bước 8: Chọn Image Save as PNG file.
