The rationale behind conducting an internship report on the importance ofEnglish in the aviation industry stems from recognizing English proficiency as acornerstone of safety, efficiency, and professionalism within this sector At itscore, the report seeks to delve into the pivotal role that English language skillsplay in ensuring the smooth and secure functioning of aviation operations

Firstly, safety stands as paramount in aviation, and effectivecommunication is vital for mitigating risks English serves as the universallanguage of aviation, facilitating clear and concise communication betweenpilots, air traffic controllers, cabin crew, and ground staff By exploring thecorrelation between English proficiency and safety, the report aims to shed light

on how proficient language skills contribute to reducing miscommunication,errors, and potential incidents in the aviation environment

Secondly, operational efficiency is greatly influenced by the ability tocommunicate efficiently A high level of English proficiency ensures thatinstructions, procedures, and information are conveyed accurately and promptly,thereby streamlining operations and enhancing overall efficiency Through anin-depth examination, the report endeavors to uncover the ways in whichEnglish proficiency positively impacts the efficiency of aviation operations

VATM is a Single Member Limited Liability Company operating in theform of parent company – subsidiaries with 100% State-owned charter capital,belonging to the Ministry of Transport The Corporation has been delegated bythe Government of Viet Nam to provide air navigation services in the flightinformation regions (FIRs) of Vietnam and has been directed as well assupervised by the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV) in the field ofair navigation services
