English Center It would be acknowledged that students are offered a variety of courses to meet all needs With a smart English program dedicated to children from 3-6 years old, they can promote the best language acquisition ability through the 21st century teaching model with vivid visual activities, suitable for children Children's ages such as: learning to sing, playing games, reading stories, doing projects, picnics, acting, through physical activities and other outdoor activities Children will be standardized in pronunciation, doing get used to the intonations in English conversation, practice listening comprehension and response with foreign teachers This is considered the best way to promote children's English acquisition in the golden period of language learning Brisky English Center is a place to train primary school English for children from to 12 years old, children with high communication, interaction, discovery and movement needs Learning English early will help children pronounce correctly, form new skills and study habits, and help them have a solid English foundation The dynamic learning environment at Brisky English Center that combines learning and playing will help children feel excited, happy, and comfortable to receive new languages so they can focus better and acquire new languages quickly, more effective Brisky's English program is for 13-16 year olds, helping them improve their Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing skills to help them develop and improve their language skills to progress with English at school, study in an international environment At the same time build a solid foundation of English to prepare them for the KET, PET, international English certification exams, TOEFL Junior, TOEFL iBT, IELTS, TOEIC achieved high results 1.2.2 The organizational structure a, Organizational structure The company's human resources team currently has about 30 people including Vietnamese teachers and foreigners, in which has 25 employees graduated from university or higher with good knowledge of English Brisky English Center consists of four departments implementing different functions Each department has its The director of the center is the person who directly manages and operates the organization and apparatus and is responsible before the law and to the superior management agency for all activities of the center He manages the English center from enrollment to sales and marketing People who work as Center Managers themselves need to understand their work as well as their responsibilities for the center  Training Department: They are responsible for the management of the training program as well as the quality of the teaching staff, change the method when it is truly necessary to ensure the quality of teaching  Marketing Department: The Marketing Department plays a vital role in promoting the business and mission of an organization It serves as the face of the company, coordinating and producing all materials representing the business It is the Marketing Department's job to reach out to prospects, customers, investors or the community, while creating an overarching image that represents your company in a positive light  Sales Department: Sales department is responsible for making business plans and implementing them effectively by project, week, month, or special event As a direct contact with customers Customers who are interested in the course or are not interested in the course, under the talented command and coordination of consultants, customers will choose the courses that best suit them as well as the level of each They are directly responsible for the company's revenue  HR Department: The human resources team will ensure that all sections and individuals in the company perform the right functions and tasks, achieve efficiency at work, ensure the recruitment and construction, development and evaluation of a contingent of parkers according to the company's requirements and strategies Employee relations managers within company HR keep communication channels open between departments and individuals at different operational levels 1.3 Information about Training Department Training Department takes responsibility for organizing classes to help learners advance level skills in informatics and English Brisky English Center's training room currently has 20 staffs includes of 15 teachers and teaching assistants in from graduates to part-time students They have good knowledge of English and are trained to become professional staff Responsibilities:  Responsible for management and coordination of teaching activities and training programs  Developing teaching quality management processes and coordinating implementation control  Developing test documents, reporting standards, evaluating students' qualifications in each period, ensuring training quality assessment activities will take place according to the most effective process  Coordinate with foreign teachers and other departments to organize extracurricular lessons  Organize professional meetings, evaluation meetings, planning meetings related to the training room  Promptly make suggestions or suggestions on training related issues and market trends This is the main department of the center, which are dedicated teaching assistants, who impart motivation and knowledge, helping students to confidently come to class and study comfortably This is also the link between staff and parents, responsible for informing students' learning situation 1.4 Some 2019 to 2022) According to statistics on the revenue report, it is clear that the business performance of Brisky English Center has raised stronger and stronger over the past years In the year 2020-2021, due to the stressful situation of the Covid-19 epidemic, we had to switch to online learning Therefore, the investment cost for the promotion of courses has increased slightly Besides, because of online learning, the tuition fee has also decreased significantly 3,960,000,000VND was the profit after tax in comparision in 2022, which has risen significantly compared to 2020 By 2022, when all activities return to normal, the centers in general and Brisky in particular have begun to revive We can see that profits have also increased a lot compared to the early years, but the cost of repairing facilities has also increased significantly due to more classes The center's strong growth over the years is attributable to the increase in the number of students in each classroom, the reduction in the number of extra teachers, and the low cost of marketing In conclusion, the business performance of the company is relatively good PART 2: INTRODUCTION ABOUT INTERNSHIP PROCESS IN BRISKY ENGLISH CENTER 2.1 The tasks during the internship process The internship period as an English teaching assistant at Brisky English Center lasts weeks, starting from January 2023 to February 2023 My working time is quite flexible, being registered according to the time of the class I choose to become a teaching assistant Working time in the office is arranged in the evenings from Monday to Saturday every week with time frames: 18:00 – 19:30 and 19:30 – 21:00 The tasks I have completed are as follows: 2.1.1 Supporting class On the first day of work, I was very fortunate to be guided by Ms Nguyet and dedicated to getting used to the working environment, colleagues and lovely students I had to read a lot of documents to understand the center, understand the content of the center's program and what to as a TA Next, I learned through some of the company's cultures The culture that leaves the most impression is the culture of greeting From the director to the staff including the trainees, every time when entering the company, they smile and greet each other Furthermore, I need to arrive 30 minutes before class time to arrange flashcards in the correct order of shifts for Kindy classes (3-6 years old students) then pick up students and receptionists and guide them to settle down before class Next, on time for class, I will be the one to check in and watch the students who are late for school or take time off Foreign teachers will teach interactively for the first 60 minutes and my task is to observe, keep classroom order, re-teach sentences of foreign teacher that students not understand Besides, I also help foreign teachers prepare games and rewards for winners so that students are interested in learning After each class, the student's homework will include a video recording of the practice and send it to the class zalo group Video content is readings, stories, plays,songs it's in the books that they 've learned in class My task is to review the videos for my students and correct the pronunciation In addition, my responsibilities include notifying students’ parents the test date, designing the test 10 format and invigilating students doing both midterm and final tests, then sending the results to them After the in-class observation I had to have a report on how I acquired from the period of the observation and share the ideas with the other practice teachers to improve the perceptions These discussions led me to determine the effective methods in making the lesson plans for the next phase In addition to teaching students with foreign teachers, I also have to ensure some works following:  Prepare materials before each class to ensure that the lessons are not repeated  Observe each student to see his strengths and weaknesses and come up with solutions to help  Write weekly assessments of each of student’s learning so that parents can keep an eye on their child's performance Image 1.3: Some pictures of students in class 2.1.2 Tutoring 1:1 With students needing extra help in keeping track of lessons, I was responsible for assisting them with more exercises and review before each school exam 2.1.3 Checking homework and making tests The students in Sunny and Bean classes are older classes so there is a lot of homework At the beginning of the session I will mark and be in charge of marking tests of reading, listening and writing skills As for the speaking test, students will be tested with foreign teachers and teaching assistants will record videos and send them to parents 11 Particularly, my internship schedule for four process In addition to bringing knowledge and skills along with working experience in the real environment, the internship process at the company also has many difficulties Although I received enthusiastic support from the supervisor and colleagues in my department, I could not avoid challenges during my internship First of all, before applying for the position of teaching assistant of the English center, I had months of experience as a home tutor for students grades and It's also education-related work, but when I was a teaching assistant, there were many bewildered The first is that the classes at the center often have a large number of students, so it is also more difficult to manage the class Especially in small classes, there are still many students who are busy playing, they didn’t want to learn, so it is more or less difficult to transmit knowledge and create interest in learning Consequently, I realize that giving satisfaction of fastidious students, I must be patient and harmony Secondly, for me, this is a completely new working environment, only the knowledge learned is not enough, the important thing is how I still use it at work My colleagues are also very good brothers and sisters, with many years of 12 experience in the profession, so I have a little self-esteem So it took me week to get used to the work and everyone in the company Thirdly, it was the matter of time With the working time frame from 18:00, to ensure that I get to the center on time, I need to go from home hour in advance because the distance from my house to the center is quite far Moreover, 18:00 is the rush hour There were days when I was close to the hour due to traffic jams and heavy rain Last but not least, the job requires a lot of soft skills, even ones I've never touched before, that require patience to absorb new things instead of diligently applying what is already known I have to be confident every time I talk to parents of long-term students with whom I not know the learning situation, solve all problems calmly so as not to lose the image of the center 2.2.2 Experienced lessons After the internship at the Brisky English center, I have learned a lot of valuable lessons and specific experiences for myself The following is some of experiences which I gained during this training cource Firstly, through the period of practice, I myself have the conditions to be acquainted and exposed to a new environment, not the school environment that I have had over the years, this is completely new environment During this time, I have learned a lot from serious working style, enthusiastic working attitude as well as the dynamic working environment In addition, I also learned a lot of experience through the work I was assigned to and the situations that occurred during the work process Secondly, the training course brought to me the oppotunity to use my English knowledge through communicating with foreign teachers and using English in company I am allowed to participate in the work of the department as well as working related to English language I recognized that my English is improved so much through practice Especially I also learned so many important skills in dealing with customers and working with staffs Moreover, in spite of short time of training process, the internship cource at the company makes me feel more confident and patient than before With the help of the internship teacher through the input of the 13 weekly report, I can see what I have achieved and what is lacking Since then, I am aware of and supplement those missing skills and experiences, contributing to perfecting myself The last lesson is the attitude towards work In terms of attitude in the process of working, students should have an attitude of hard work and enthusiasm for the work assigned, going to work on time, keeping general discipline In addition, I also learned that the attitude of respect which is expressed in receiving the opinions of superiors, listening to the suggestions of colleagues and respecting the opinions of everyone I can learn a lot about my strengths and weaknesses during an internship Internships allow for feedback from supervisors and others who are established in the field, and offer a unique learning opportunity that I may not have again as a working adult The benefits and experiences gained during the internship are the luggage and valuable lessons for students to enter the labor market after graduation 14 PART 3: THE USE OF ENGLISH IN THE BRISKY ENGLISH CENTER 3.1 Situation of using English at the company The more the country develops in all aspects and the deeper the integration process, the more the term international communication is mentioned One of the most popular areas of international communication today is communication in English Stemming from the need and application in daily life, the need to equip yourself with a proficient English communication skill plays a very important role At the centre of Brisky, English is spoken in most departments but at different levels Most employees have enough knowledge to read and understand English to serve their jobs Departments such as marketing department, sales department use a little English in the process of working or they just need a little understanding to use in the work That's because all of their work is mostly related to their majors, so the use of English is only a small part of their work As for human resources, due to the specifics of the job, they not have to be exposed to English too much, so their English level is quite poor However, they are a department primarily responsible for recruiting candidates This means that they can only recruit candidates through in English or if they want to interview, they will have to get help from another department These limitations and shortcomings can sometimes be frustrating, affecting productivity and work efficiency It is imperative that the training staff have a good knowledge of English because they are the ones who directly prepare the materials, work with foreign teachers and ensure the quality of the classroom The training room plays a very important role in ensuring the quality of lessons Teachers and teaching assistants of the training department are required to have good knowledge of all four skills of Listening - Speaking - Reading - Writing and foreign teachers are carefully selected They are mainly from the US, UK, Canada and South Africa and have international teaching certificates However, the new teaching assistants from the trainee department seem to be very weak in the speaking part and are very afraid to communicate with foreign teachers Most of the 2nd and 3rd year students not have much practical work experience, so they are still shy 15
