The Government = the authorities - Money = public money = national budget = financial resources (ở đề nói đến tiền, tiền “đất nước”, nên dùng từ để paraphrase) - Invest in = allocate to = put into - Science education = teaching science - Develop the country = help the nation thrive Vậy câu viết lại sau: ➔ The authorities should allocate national budget to teaching science (in school) rather than other subjects to help the nation thrive Cùng tham khảo thêm ví dụ Example 2: Women should play an equal role as men in a country’s police force or military force, such as the army - Passive (chủ động – bị động) Chúng ta lấy lại ví dụ phân tích tí (S) (V) (O) The Government should invest more money in science education rather than other subjects to develop the country Trong câu trên: - Chủ ngữ “The Government” - Động từ “invest” - Tân ngữ “more money” Vậy viết câu bị động, phải đem tân ngữ (more money) phía trước để biến thành chủ từ Nhiều bạn hay nhầm lẫn chọn túc từ (tân ngữ) nguyên cụm “science education rather than other subjects ……….” phía sau Việc lựa chọn viết câu bị động hoàn tồn sai lầm Ln ln tâm niệm điều: động từ tác động đến danh từ nào, đem danh từ làm chủ ngữ Ví dụ câu trên: động từ “invest” (đầu tư), tự hỏi “What” – đầu tư Trong câu rõ ràng đầu tư tiền - He decides to drop out of school (Trong câu “decide” động từ) - He makes a decision to drop out of school (Trong câu này, động từ “decide” biến thành danh từ “decision”) Như ví dụ trên, chức từ “decide” chuyển đổi từ động từ → danh từ Nhưng biến thành danh từ rồi, cần tìm đồng từ phù hợp để kèm với decision Cách tìm: lên trang ozdic.com → search “decision” Mình search decision với động từ “make” → make a decision Vì viết: He makes a decision to drop out of school Chúng ta dùng lại ví dụ từ đầu sách đến giờ: -
