Quy trình multiplex real-time PCR đã xây dựng cho phép phát hiện loài vi khuẩn
Acinetobacter spp. và phát hiện chính xác A. baumannii dựa trên gene blaOXA-51, đồng
thời xác định xem những chủng vi khuẩn này có mang thêm những gene blaOXA khác, đã phổ biến ở A. baumannii hay không, như
blaOXA-23 và blaOXA-58.
