LESSON 3- part ( 6-7)

I Aims:

1 Knowledge: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:

 Recognize and say the three Bb words correctly

 Do the corresponding actions  Read the story

 Sing letter Bb song

Vocabulary : ball, bed, bee

Sight words : look, at, the, with, on

2 Skills: Reading, Listening, Speaking, Writing

3.Attitude:-Understand, recognize and say the three Bb words Requirements: students with disability can choose right picture

II Teaching aids

1 Teacher’s:i-Learn My Phonics Grade , lesson plan, CD Phonics cards  2 Students’: Pupil’s Book , Activity Book

III.Teaching methods -Communicative approach.

-Techniques:+ Ask and answer (say individually) + Work in pairs/ groups Discuss

 Ask students to circle these pictures  Go around for helping

Activity 7

7.1 Listen, point and repeat (5mins)

 Show the students the bear phonics card Point to it and say: /b/ - bear Ask them to repeat

 Mime growling like a bear and say /b/, bear  Encourage the students to the same

*( Requirements: students with disability can repeat )

 Say the letter and ask students the action  Play the CD

 Ask students listen, point to and repeat the word

7.2 Colour the pictures of the words that start with the b sound Say the b word (7mins)

 Point to pictures and have students name them  Name some colours and ask the students to repeat  Ask the students to colour the pictures which have Bb in

them

*( Requirements: students with disability can choose right picture )

 Give the students four minutes to colour in the ‘bee’ and

‘bed’ Go around the classroom providing any necessary help

Activity: Whispers (10mins)

 Line up the students into two teams of six

 Show the phonics cards to the first student only in each group

 This student whispers the word to the next student behind

6 Circle the pictures of the

words that start with the b sound

(10ms)

7 Listen, point and repeat

7.1 Listen, point and repeat (5mins)

 The students continue whispering the word until the final student shouts out the word

 Review the sound of the letter Bb, four Bb words and recognize the corresponding pictures

 Write the letter Bb

Activity 1

 Write on the board the big A and small a  Point to the letter A and say out loud “This is the letter

A /eI/ The letter A says /a/”

 Point to the letter a and say out loud “This is the letter a /eI/ The letter a says /a/”

 Have the class repeat its sound chorally, then individually  Have the students say the sound individually, correct the

pronunciation if necessary

Activity 2

Copy the box from the book to the board  Tell the students that you are going to write the letter Aa

into the box

 Demonstrate the writing

 Put Phonics cards of an ant and a bee

 Draw small square boxes underneath them on the board  Ask the students which one goes with letter Aa and then

tick the correct box

 Tell the students that they are going to write the letter Aa in the boxes in their book and tick the correct picture that corresponds to the letter

*Requirements: students with disability can line

Activity 3

Speaking & Listening

 Show up the phonics cards one by one For example, show the card with ball, but incorrectly say bed or bee, the students should stand; if the words are correctly said, they should jump up

*students with disability can to colour slowly

 Do the same procedure for the other cards

 Give feedback

.Activity 4 Speaking

 Ask students to find the shapes that have the letters Bb and colour them

 Ask them to say what appears in the picture  Go around providing any necessary help
