(1)Hanoi Education & Training Department Thang Long High School LESSON PLAN Unit 13: Hobbies Part C: Listening Student Teacher: Nguyen Thi Oanh Teaching Practicum : at Class 11A3 Instructor: Ms Dao Thuy Hanh Class Description: 54 Ss from class 11A3, 27 boys and 27 girls Time: 45 ms Objectives At the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to:  Listen to specific information  Use the information and their background they have listened to talk about advantages and disadvantages of over-reading Anticipated problems Students may not catch some information, so T should be ready to assist them Materials: textbook, handouts, cassette, CD Procedure Lop11.com (2) Stages Warm-up (Group work) Time Teacher’s Activities Students’ activities 8’ Game: cross words -Prepares cross words game -Divides the class into big groups Take turn, they choose a number and -Work in groups -Discuss and find out key word find out the words and key words to get points Keyword: Book Lead in: Asks Ss some questions? -Answer T’s questions 1.Do you like books? 2.Do you often read books in your free time?
