- Ask some ss to go to the board and write down some old words
-Ask some ss to say greeting sentences and self-introduce

-Have Ss open the book page and identify the characters in the pictures
-Set the scene: “you are going to hear conversations between Nam and Mai”
-Write down -Self-introduce -Listen carefully
-Take note at their notebooks
