Activity:Guessing game
- T divide the class into teams, A and B - T calls Ss come to the board
- Whisper one of the target vocabulary words (dog, drum, dragon,…) to him/her - Without speaking, the student draws a picture of the word on the board
- The first team to guess the word wins a point
- Repeat the activity with as many students as necessary - T monitor and coreect their mistake

- Mime cracking and beating eggs and say doll
- T point to the pictures, the students corresponding actions and say the words - T divide the class into groups of two
- The first student point to the pictures and the other student say the word then change the roles
- T ask the students to colour in the pictures of the words that start with the sound

- T put chairs in front of the board
- T devides Ss into teams of 5, A, B and C - T aks Ss from each team stand up
- T put a phonics card on each chair - T call out one of the phonics cards - T monitor and pride the winer

- Display some phonics card on the board, one of which contains the /d/ sound
- T say /d/ sound and have the students point to the card that contains the sound
- Ask Ss to say the words that start with /d/ sound
- T ask Ss to join the dots to complete the
pictures and colour them then match the pictures to the correct sentences below
