I Objective:

1 Language focus:

- By the end of this lesson, students will introducing family members Vocabulary: review father, mother, brother, sister.

- Encourage Ss to use the structure more regulary II Teaching aids:

+ Teacher’s aids: Ss’book and teacher’s book, class CDs, flashcards, projector /TV. + Students’ aids: Student book, notebooks, workbook.

III Method:

- Model - Talk - Practice, individual work, pair work, group work IV Procedures:

*Activity: Singing

- T asks Ss to sing the songs of letters ‘c’ and ‘d’ again - T ask them to sing and make the gestures of a cap or a door - T calls some Ss sing and make the gestures

3 New lesson (30’)

- T asks Ss to look at the pictures Point to each person in the pictures and asks them call out the people they see

- T plays the CD and asks Ss to look at the picture and people

- T demonstrate the activity by pointing at the example

- T asks Ss to listen and circle

- T check the answers as a whole class

- T point at each person in the picture and asks Ss

- T calls some Ss demonstrate the activity in front of the class

*Activity B.Play "Stepping Stones" (10')

- T divide the class into pairs

- T asks student A start at A and say the first sentence

- Student B start at B and say the first sentence - T asks Ss to take turns saying the sentences and go all the way round

- T calls some pairs demonstrate the activity in front of the class

*Activity: “Whispering” (10’)

- T choose groups of the same number of Ss - T asks Ss to make lines

- T whispers a word to the Ss at the back of the lines These Ss then whisper the word to the Ss standing right in front of them This is repeated until the word reaches the Ss at the front of the lines

- Ss at the front of the lines call out the word and the Ss at the back hold up the flashcard to see whether the word is correct

- The Ss at the front of the lines move to the back of the lines T repeats the activity with other words

- Mix the flashcards of Unit - lessons and - T put them on a table in front of the class - T divide the Ss into two teams

- T invite a student from each group to go to the board - T say a word and asks Ss to race to find the flashcard 3 New lesson (30’)
